Republic Pilots to Vote on LOA to avoid Furloughs.

Republic pilots are facing a difficult choice. In an LOA negotiated by teamsters, Republic pilots are afforded the opportunity to avoid furloughs and downgrades.
Breakdown:
- No furloughs or downgrades through March 31st.
- First Officers who would have been furloughed will be reduced to 32 hours of guarantee (approximately $1,472 dollars before tax).
- Pilots who would have been furloughed or downgraded will be reduced to just 10 working days per month.
- Captains who would have been downgraded will be reduced to 45 hours of guarantee.
- Those impacted would retain critical benefits such as health insurance.
- OT would only be awarded to those on a reduced guarantee on a case by case basis.
- Those who would not be at risk of a furlough or downgrade would not be blocked from picking up more than 82 hours of credit per month.
